Tan-Yah Jacson

Artist/ Teacher/ Motivator

Art is not simply a beautiful image an artist captured on a paper or canvas

Art has the ability to come to life, it’s like the sound of a symphony of color composed in the heart of the artist. The crescendo builds up until the artist’s hand stops directing, and the orchestra of colors releases the crescendo of the heart’s message that echoes throughout eternity.

All artists strive to create that “perfect” piece. With every piece completed they stand back and say: “This is the best one yet”, only to find themselves composing another piece of creative art and declaring it as being the best.

Art is a journey of discovery, discovering how you see the world around you, how you fit into this world and discovering God’s idea of what He created, chasing the elusive how and why. It’s not only a journey of discovery but one of also embracing the intricately complex world all around us.

When we finally come into harmony with the world around us, we discover peace. My aim as an artist is to create works that transport the peace in my heart as I create… into the viewer’s heart. As an artist I have been given the ability to create those special encounters, deep moments of connection that are able to satisfy the longing many have… a face to face moment of becoming ONE with God and experiencing greater depths of His nature.

With so many different styles of art, we create different voices that speak uniquely to many different hearts, which is why you find so many different styles of artwork – from mixed media to oil paintings, from portraits to landscapes, to still life, expanding your choice through a wide range of prints and original artwork.

Meet my Friends

That painting is such a blessing not only to us but also has such amazing impact on anyone who visits us and stands in front of it. Just to see the expressions on their faces without saying a word… you can see how the painting speaks to each one… you have such an amazing talent and your paintings are such a blessing.

Commissioned Painting

When I saw this painting, I literally could not stop staring at it. I immediately fell in love with it and especially after I saw the title to the piece, “Waiting For Hope,” I knew I had to have it. My husband surprised me with it for my birthday. I cried when he gave it to me. It’s the very first thing I hung up in my new house. Tan-Yah is very talented.
